Stellar Robotics Earns Quality Award At Regional Competition

SHELBY, OH - Shelby-based FIRST Robotics Competition team Stellar Robotics added another trophy to their list of accolades over the weekend as they were awarded the Quality Award.

Stellar attended the FIRST Robotics Miami Valley Regional competition over on March 7th through 9th, placing 12th out of 60 teams and captaining the 8th seed alliance. They, unfortunately, were eliminated by the 1st seed in quarterfinals but received the Quality Award for their efforts. 

The Quality Award is presented by Motorola Solutions Foundation and is designed to celebrate machine robustness in concept and fabrication. Judges called Stellar "a great example to others" and praised their workmanship and design.
