One Arrested After Standoff In Bucyrus Monday

BUCYRUS, OH - A standoff in Bucyrus ended with one person arrested on Monday.

On March 11th, 2019, officers from the Bucyrus Police Department were dispatched to investigate an attempted sexual assault at 819 Woodale Avenue. It was found that the person of interest had an active felony warrant. 

The individual refused to exit and another party at the residence became uncooperative, according to the Bucyrus Police Department. Mutual aid was requested from the Crawford County Sheriff's Office and a perimeter was established diverting traffic. 

In lieu of threats by the subject to self and others, the Crawford County Special Response Team were called to the scene. 

Jeremy Taylor Clark, age 25, surrendered at 4:50 PM after attempts to negotiate were conducted by the Special Response Team. Clark left the residence without incident. 

Clark was transported to Bucyrus Hospital for treatment of a rib injury he sustained from an altercation he was involved in prior to this complaint pertaining to his alleged behavior with other complainants. 

He is currently being held at the Crawford County Justice Center for the active warrants and investigation into the incident.
