Two-Car Accident In Lexington Sends One To Hospital

LEXINGTON, OH - A two-car accident occurred at the intersection of Castor Road and East Main Street in Lexington late Tuesday afternoon.

According to Lexington Police, the driver of a Toyota SUV tried to turn left onto East Main Street from Castor Road when he collided with a smaller Dodge car. The driver of the Toyota is said to have run through the stop sign on Castor Road and didn't see the oncoming Dodge, leading to the accident.

The driver of the Dodge was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries at the driver's request. The driver of the Toyota has been issued a citation for stop sign violation. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
