Troopers Investigating Fatal Accident In Marion County

MARION - A Marion man was killed in a one-vehicle crash that happened around 9:15 p.m. Saturday on Marion County Road 106.

The Marion State Highway Patrol says 41-year-old Timothy Cobb died after being taken to Marion General Hospital.

The patrol says Cobb was driving a Nissan X-Terra west on County Road 106 when he drove off the north side of the roadway.

The SUV struck a field access drive and a ditch and rolled over several times.

Cobb was not wearing a safety belt and was ejected from the vehicle,

He was then transported to Marion General Hospital by Pleasant Township Fire and EMS, where he was pronounced deceased.

Assisting at the scene were the Marion County Sheriff's Office and Ron's Towing.
