Richland Idea Audition Returns This Coming Fall

MANSFIELD, OH - The Richland Area Chamber have announced the return of the Richland Idea Audition.

Currently planned for September 17th of this year, the event will have local residents pitch thier business ideas to a panel in hopes of receiving funding to make their dreams come true.  

"The structure of the program is actually going to work similar to last year," said Jodie Perry, President/CEO of the Richland Area Chamber. "We were blown away by the amount of participants last year... far exceeded our expectations, so we are really excited for year number two!"

Applications to be a participant in the Richland Idea Audition are due towards the end of July.  The application period is now open, according to the Richland Area Chamber. 

Training sessions will also be available to those who want to participate. 

The public is welcome to attend the event and see local residents pitch their business ideas. 

"Our goal is to put a spotlight on entreprenuership and help people to realize that that is a great path here in Richland County." said Perry. "We want to help them achieve their dreams."

1st Place in the Richland Idea Audition is $5,000, 2nd place is $2,500 dollars, and 3rd place is $1,000.
