Richland County Recognizes First Responders Appreciation Day

RICHLAND COUNTY, OH - The Richland County Commissioners signed a proclamation on Tuesday, recognizing "First Responders Appreciation Day" throughout the area.

Law enforcement, firefighters, EMTs, 911 dispatchers, search and rescue operators, and other organizations in the public safety sector were celebrated for their dedication to protect citizens and aid people in need around the clock. First responders were also recognized for their courage and bravery to risk their own safety in the performance of their duties.

Richland County Commissioners Anthony Vero, Marilyn John, and Darrell Banks signed a proclamation that recognized April 23rd as First Responders Appreciation Day within Richland County.

Members of the public are encouraged to thank first responders they know for the tireless tasks they perform each and every day.
