MANSFIELD, OH - Federal agents executed a search warrant at the Rite Aid on Park Avenue in Mansfield Tuesday afternoon as part of what may be a far-reaching, long-term investigation.

The store was open Tuesday, but representatives from the company did confirm that Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agents were present at several Ohio locations.

According to a statement provided by Rite Aid's public relations director, Rite Aid is cooperating with the DEA in its investigation. The DEA provided no comment except to say that the investigation is ongoing and may remain open for several months.
