NEW BLOOMINGTON, OH - The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a one-vehicle injury crash near State Route 95 in Montgomery Township.

54-year-old Gordon Rothfuss was driving a 2007 Jeep Patriot east on State Route 95, just west of the intersection at Larue-Prospect Road. Rothfuss' vehicle traveled off of the right side of the road, drove through a ditch, and stopped next to a nearby residence.

While there was no damage to the vehicle, Rothfuss was transported by Medcare EMS to Marion General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Authorities say the incident is being treated as a medical death, and is under investigation.
