MANSFIELD, OH - Cars lined the street and neighborhood residents crowded the room to attend the ribbon cutting of Share 'N Dipity, a neighborhood bakery with tasty treats and local charm.

Owner Darlene Mast began baking about a year ago simply to relieve stress, but found it to be such a relaxing and enjoyable hobby, it inspired her to make a career change.

She and her husband utilized a building they already owned after a previous business outgrew it to build their dream concept of a neighborhood bakery.

"In my travels that I've been on that's where the bakeries are, in the neighborhoods," said Mast. "That's what I wanted to mimic, is the neighborhood bakery that people can walk by, some Sunday morning, run over across the street and grab their pastries and have it be fresh."

The neighborhood came out in droves to support the new business when it first opened, and they appeared again at the ribbon cutting Thursday afternoon. Mayor Tim Theaker and other local officials were present to offer congratulations, samples sat out for visitors to try, and pastries were flying off of the shelves. The amount of support present meant a lot to Mast and her family.

"It does mean a lot to me beacuse it's my family. It's something that we can do as a family, and we picked up a couple extra family members along the way," Mast said of her new staff. "I'm just so blessed with the family that I have."

Share 'N Dipity is open from 7:00 AM until 6:00 PM Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 AM until 3:00 PM on Saturday, and 8:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Sunday.
