ONTARIO, OH - Dakota is an energetic 10-week-old male kitten that is looking for his forever home!

Dakota is a neutered kitten that came to the Humane Society of Richland County with a badly fractured femur and had to have it amputated when he was only 8-weeks-old.

However, that does not stop him from being extremely playful!

Dakota will do well in a home with older kids. He does not mind being with dogs and other cats.

If you would like to meet him or are interested in adopting him, you can visit him at the shelter, located at 3025 Park Avenue West in Ontario. To donate or to get more information, visit adoptourstrays.com.

The Humane Society of Richland County is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from Noon to 5:00 PM and also Thursdays from Noon to 7:00 PM.  If you can't adopt at this time you can still contribute by donating pet food, toys, leashes, litter, or time to HSRC or your local Humane Society.

Pet Of The Week is brought to you by the Byrd Motorcar. Byrd Motorcar is located at 3055 Park Ave West in Ontario.

Check back to WMFD.com every Wednesday afternoon for a brand new Pet Of The Week from The Humane Society Of Richland County.
