ONTARIO, OH - For seven years, Ross Medical Education Center has been Ontario's go-to training grounds for those in the medical field. On Tuesday, they celebrated their seven-year landmark with a ribbon cutting, bringing more attention to the facility's mission and educational goals.

"I wanted the opportunity to be able to bring people in to remember 'Hey, there's another place that you can attend school,'" said Heather Fox, Career Services Supervisor at Ross Medical Education Center. "We're right here in Ontario, located by Old Navy."

Ontario Mayor Randy Hutchinson was present at the ceremony, showing his support for the growing medical industry and the jobs it brings to the city.

"It shows the need for it in the community, especially with all the medical facilities we have here," said Hutchinson. "To have training available, workforce development is very important. A representative from Lieutenant Governor Husted's office said the same thing. It's important to train people in trades."

The Ross Medical Education Center is located at 2150 West Fourth Street and is open from 8 AM to 8 PM Monday through Friday. For more information, visit their website at rosseducation.edu.
