MANSFIELD, OH - This Friday, music fans will return to Mansfield's Ohio State Reformatory for the 2019 INKCarceration music and tattoo festival, featuring rock staples such as Five Finger Death Punch, Shinedown, Godsmack, Seether, and more. New to this year's festival is the addition of the Ohio State Reformatory attraction "Escape from Blood Prison," an escape room-style experience that premiered in October of 2018 at the historic prison.

"It's a great mix of rock and tattoos in one of the most famous prisons in the world," said Susan Fischer, Co-Producer of INKCarceration. "Everything's bigger and better than last year. It was our first year, we were really proud of it, and everybody had a great time. We are really bringing it this year."

In 2018, the INKCarceration festival saw thousands of guests visit Mansfield, providing visitors to the area with three days of food and fun. The event also helped boost the local economy with tourism to Mansfield increasing for the three days of the festival. Fischer says that working in the Mansfield community has been a great experience for herself and for her team, with local leaders offering their help to make the festival a hit.

"We are so proud to be welcomed to Mansfield," Fischer said. "We've had a great partnership with Destination Mansfield, the Chamber of Commerce, the City of Mansfield, law enforcement, fire, safety, Highway Patrol, the Sheriff... I mean, we have had great support from the community. We're proud to bring an event of this stature and size to Mansfield and to hopefully make it a destination for festival lovers year after year after year."
