MANSFIELD, OH - New Mansfield Schools Superintendent Stan Jefferson visited WMFD Studios to talk with community leaders about the current state of Mansfield City Schools, and whats in store for the future.

Jefferson stated there are many challenges facing the school district. The new superintendent outlined plans to combat these challenges in order to bring change to the school district.

One challenge is to make sure that both teachers and students are using the latest technology in order to improve learning environments. Jefferson states that back in the day, students used to get textbooks. Now, they get tablets. In order to improve learning, Jefferson states that the district needs to embrace these advances.

Jefferson further states that faculty and staff will need to give it their all to prepare students to be the next generation of leaders.

Partnerships with local organizations will also be a key factor in the growth of the school district, Jefferson says.
