GALION, OH- Donley Ford's Drive 4 UR Community allowed participants to test drive new Fords in Galion on Thursday.

However, the event wasn't all for sales.  Ford Motor Company donated $20 per test drive to the United Way of Crawford County up to 300 test drives.  Donley Auto Group offered to match the proceeds made if 300 people test drove new cars.

Marketing Manager for Donley Auto Group, Judi Dickinson said that Donley tries to support United Way in any way that they can.

"At all of our stores we're committed to supporting United Way we find it to be a very important cause in the communities that we do business in and live and have relationships in so it's really important to us," Dickinson said.

The test drives took place at Heise Park and customers and sales didn't take place at the event.

Nadia Oehler, manager of the United Way of Crawford County, said that the United Way uses money from events like this to support causes in Crawford County.

"United Way has been a long time partner with Donley.  United Way believes in collective giving so getting everyone in the community together for a common mission," Oehler said.  "And giving that out through a collective impact model and Donley has always been a big supporter of that."
