ASHLAND, OH -  The Columbian Tornadoes outlasted a lengthy storm delay to defeat the Ashland Arrows 31-7 on Friday night.

The two teams exchanged scores in the first quarter before Columbian (3-0) scored twice in the second quarter to take a 21-7 lead. However, a lightning delay haulted play with 4:47 left in the half and lasted over three hours, but when it resumed, the Tornado defense stood tall keeping Ashland (0-3) off the board while adding on 10 more points.

Columbian will head home to host Start next week while the Arrows will head to Sandusky for its last game before OCC play begins.
