ASHLAND, OH- Project ONE Ministries is hosting Ashland County Street Recovery on Saturday, September 21.

The event will last from noon-4pm at 400 Orange Street in Ashland.  It is free and open to the public.

Much like the Crawford County Street Recovery Program this past weekend, the event gives those struggling with addiction in Ashland the opportunity to ask for help.  Executive Director and Founder of Project ONE, Amanda Nichols, told WMFD at Crawford County's Street Recovery that the Ashland event provides hope for those whose lives have been touched by addiction.

"There's going to be some deep conversations going on there when people are speaking so we just invite you to come out and get involved and get to know the agencies that are in your area."

The event will feature a variety of local resources as well as speakers, food, raffles, music, and a balloon launch.

"It's going to be a good atmosphere, a family friendly atmosphere and there's things for everybody there.  You don't have to be struggling with addiction to come here to this event," Nichols said.
