BUCYRUS, OH- Crawford Park District got in the fall spirit Thursday evening, by hosting an archery pumpkin shoot at Unger Park. The event tested participants archery skills by having pumpkins be the main targets, instead of just the normal bulls-eye.

Participants did not need to bring any supplies in order to participate, with all the pumpkins and targets provided by the park district.

" It's amazing seeing people for the first time, when they actually hit the target for the first time," said Crawford Park District Naturalist Lisa Bogard. "Sometimes before they even start their just.. Oh I cant do it... I have not done this in years or I am not going to be good at it and their just amazed with themselves with what they can accomplish."

Bogard said the turnout was great for the event this year and that adults are more then welcome to participate in the districts programs.
