MANSFIELD, OH - After the resounding success of their toy drive in 2018, the Crestline Police Department has teamed up with hardware and home renovation supply store Menards to draw in even more toys to give away to families in need this holiday season.

"We have a mutual friend that works here at Menards," said Jeffrey Shook, Crestline Police Chief. "She put me in contact with the general manager here and said that they reach out to neighboring communities and assist them with their toy drive every year. We started a toy drive last year, and it was very successful. We had such an overwhelming response from the community that we were able to service not only every family that was in need in Crestline, but also Galion, Bucyrus, and New Washington families as well."

At the Mansfield Menard's location, a box will be stationed near the entrance/exit doors for customers to drop off unused, unwrapped toys as donations for the toy drive.

The toy drive will "wrap up" on December 20th, and donations can be made at either Menards or the Crestline Police Department until that date.
