COLUMBUS, OH- The annual Scarlet and Grey spring football game saw the Ohio State football program put up a whole bunch of points on a plethora of passing yards this past Saturday at Ohio Stadium.

A 44-31 victory by the Scarlet squad would be highlighted by quarterback play on both sides. Projected starter JT Barrett finished 8-12 for 71 yards and a touchdown, while Joe Burrow went 14-22 for 262 yds and 3 TD's and Dwayne Haskins completed 26 of 37 throws for 293 yds and 3 scores.

In total, the Buckeyes combined for nearly 700 yards through the air against a young secondary that lost four starters to this year's NFL Draft. WR Terry McLaurin hauled in 4 passes for 80 yards and 2 scores while Johnnie Dixon looked like the deep threat OSU has been seeking since Devin Smith left after the 2014 season, hauling in 6 catches for 108 yds and 2 TD's.

On this week's episode of The Sports Buzz, host Brian Skowronski and WMFD's "Big" Mike Thompson discuss their overall takeaways from the Buckeyes spring game and which players may be key factors for the squad in the 2017 season.
