MANSFIELD, OH- The Shelby football team appears to be on their way to the best season in program history which dates back to the late 1800's. The undefeated Whippets have been crushing their opponents by an accumulative total of 287-37 on their way to 6-0 with a talented collection of athletes at just about every position.

Head coach Erik Will is now in his 5th season running the program, returning to the place where he played high school football in the late 1990's. During his tenure, the Whippets have gradually improved each season. An 11-2 regional runner-up campaign last year won't be easy to top, but Will and the squad have proved to be up for the challenge so far.

On this week's episode of The Sports Buzz, Will sits down with host Brian Skowronski in studio to discuss his program and season on the gridiron.

During their discussion, Will touches on the community's support of the team, the potential college players on his roster and how to manage their wealth of talent, meeting expectations and the Whippets monster matchup at 5-1 Edison in Milan on Friday.
