MANSFIELD, OH-  The Bellevue Redmen have moved on to the Division II regional final next week vs Shelby with a 21-13 win over the Clear Fork Colts at Arlin Field avenging a 20-14 overtime loss in week two of the season.

Bellevue struck first on a Riley Renwand to Bryce Mc Murray to lead 7-0 with 11:07 remaining in the first quarter.  Clear Fork tied the game when Trevon Trammell picked up a Bellevue fumble returning it five yards for a touchdown with 7:30 remaining before halftime.

Bellevue regained the lead at 14-7 in the second half when Treston Francis raced 58 yards with 4:08 remaining in the third quarter.  The Redmen increased their lead to 21-7 when Renwand found Dakota McPeak on an 87-yard touchdown pass.   The Colts would close the gap to 21-13 on a Blake Dinsmore run of 23 yards.  But Clear Fork would get no closer as Bellevue moves on to the Division II regional final where they will face Shelby at a neutral site.  The Whippets ran over the Redmen 46-0 during the regular season.
