Hillsdale Falcons Shutout Carey Blue Devils, 41-0

MARENGO, OH - The Hillsdale Falcons rolled to a 41-0 win over the Carey Blue Devils to advance to the Division VI Region 22 Finals where they will take on Liberty-Benton.

Hillsdale rushed for 312 yards to Carey's 67. 

Leading the way for the ground game was Garrett Smith who piled up 146 yards with two touchdowns. His 4-yard touchdown run with 7:19 in the opening quarter put Hillsdale up 7-0.

In the 2nd quarter, the Falcons went deep into the bag of tricks as Trace Stiltner went 49-yards on a reverse to make it 14-0.

Alex Becker added a 16-yard run before the half to give Hillsdale a 21-0 lead at halftime.

Trey Williams was involved on the next two scoring drives, as he first scored on a 3-yard run and then threw a 32-yard touchdown pass to Josh Vinseck for a 34-0 lead and a running clock.

Smith added another touchdown to his night, scoring from 8-yards out to complete the Hillsdale scoring for the night.

Carey was under pressure all night as they turned the ball over twice and managed just 67 yards on the ground and 108 through the air.

Hillsdale will now take on Liberty-Benton in the Division VI Region 22 Final.
